How does renting a porta potty work, step by step?
Renting a porta potty takes 6 steps: call or request a quote, confirm the unit and spot, get delivery, use the unit, get weekly service on longer rentals, and call for pickup. Most bookings take about 5 minutes by phone.
- Call or request a quoteGive us your ZIP, dates, unit type and head count. We text an itemized quote in about 15 minutes during business hours.
- Confirm the unit and the spotWe confirm placement, gate codes, dogs, low wires and slopes. You can text a photo of the spot.
- Pay and get confirmationPay by card or approved invoice. You get a confirmation text with the delivery day.
- Delivery and placementThe driver calls 20 to 60 minutes ahead, sets and levels the unit, and texts a photo. You do not need to be home.
- Use and serviceEvent units arrive stocked. Job-site units get a full service every week on a set day.
- Call for pickupCall or text when you are done. Billing stops that day and we pick up within 1 to 3 business days.
What should I tell the driver about access?
Tell the driver about anything that blocks a truck or a hand truck: locked gates and codes, low wires or branches under 11 feet, soft lawns, slopes, dogs and parked cars. The service truck must park within about 15 feet of the unit for pumping. A clear path at least 36 inches wide fits a standard unit.
- Mark the spot with a cone, ribbon or chalk.
- Keep the spot level and out of low areas that flood.
- Keep 10 feet from tents, grills and open flames.
- In a city, keep the unit on private property or get a street permit.

How do extensions, cancellations and pickups work?
Extensions are automatic: keep the unit and the next period bills only when you pass the current one. Cancel or change your date for free up to 24 hours before delivery. To end a rental, call or text (717) 210-4414. Billing stops the day you call, and pickup happens within 1 to 3 business days.
Event units are picked up on the next business day after the event, usually Monday. Read the full rental terms.
You do not need to be home for delivery. Mark the spot, share the gate code, and the driver texts a photo when the unit is set.
How renting works FAQs
Will you call before delivery?
Yes. The driver calls 20 to 60 minutes before arriving.
Can I pick a delivery time?
We give a delivery window, usually 8 am to 4 pm. Tight timing for events is handled by delivering the day before.
Do you pick up automatically after an event?
Yes for event rentals; we pick up on the next business day. Long-term rentals stay until you call.
Can someone else pay for the rental?
Yes. We can send the payment link or invoice to a homeowner, a church treasurer or a GC.
What if the unit is in the way on pickup day?
Just call. We can move pickup a day or two at no charge.
